Katia Basley

Principal Designer & Founder

Katia is the Vision of Vision & Hammer. After graduating from SMU with a degree in psychology, Katia worked as a personal chef, running a successful catering & luxury meal-delivery service for six years. Cooking, she believes, is a lot like organizing & designing a home. Just a few of the right ingredients produce a beautiful result. And what chef doesn’t love (and need) an organized kitchen?!

Courtney Gloudemans

Logistics & Procurement

As a mom to three and a former fitness instructor, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment comes easy for Courtney. While she now calls Houston home, this V&H team member has lived in three different countries and six different homes, experiencing the design styles & trends of various cultures. With her calm & collected nature, Courtney keeps everyone on the team organized and prepared for the challenges that each week brings!

Edith Caldera

Design & Organizing Assistant

Edith is bringing her knack for creating immersive and organized spaces to Vision & Hammer. With a degree in Interior Design, she's all about the details, turning every room into an experience that resonates. And when she's not busy transforming spaces, you can bet she's cracking jokes and spreading laughter, a skill honed growing up with her lively crew of four siblings. With her love for design and infectious energy, she's ready to make her mark at Vision & Hammer, one well-designed room at a time.

Rachel Hoffman

Lead Interior Designer

With a degree in Apparel & Textiles, Rachel translated her eye for detail and design into a career in interior design. Having worked for Seventeen Magazine and other retail outlets, keeping up with trends and working in a high energy environment comes naturally. As a mom to two boys, designing with a beautiful yet functional purpose is top priority. Rachel helps team V&H reach for the sky in all aspects of design, (quite literally too, she’s 6’1’’!).

Becca Gomez

Lead Organizer

With her keen eye for blending function and aesthetic, Becca is a huge asset to the organizing team. Originally from San Antonio, Becca has moved 8 times with her family since 2013. She is also a mother of two boys (and many houseplants!). Becca is one of the rare breeds that loves organizing both professionally, and as a hobby in her spare time. When she’s not cutting custom labels on her Cricut machine, Becca can be found outside with her family or running her online women’s boutique.

Jackie Carter

Organizer

Jackie Carter, our resident queen of Container Store errands, is a strong member of the V&H organizing team and shares our affinity for creating clutter-free, organized spaces. Jackie is a proud mother to a son in the military and loves to spend her free time with her grandkids. When Jackie isn’t hauling around our Container Store purchases in her Texas sized ford pick-up, she can be found managing estate sales and car auctions or enjoying a good 90’s playlist!

Victoria Jones

Organizer

Originally from the UK, Victoria graduated from Manchester University with a degree in Law and practiced as a criminal defense attorney before moving to South Africa, where she lived for 20 years. She relocated to Houston six years ago and is a proud Longhorn mom. As a mother of two, her natural talent for organizing led her to pursue professional organizing as a career.

Larissa Coelho

Organizer

With a background in International Business and experience living in both Brazil and Portugal, she brings a wealth of global insight. After coming to the U.S. to learn English, she unexpectedly found love and made Houston her home for the past three years. Outside of work, Larissa enjoys spending her time walking, practicing yoga, cooking, and discovering new places.

Ariana Ranuare

Organizer

Ariana, known to many as Ari, was born in the Caribbean and raised in the beautiful Sunshine State of Florida. Though her background is in Clinical Psychology, she made a bold 360-degree shift to follow her passion for Interior Design and organizing. Outside of work, Ari is an avid reader who loves immersing herself in different cultures through travel, exploring how others live and experience life. She’s also a proud mom of four pets, who bring endless joy to her life.
